Subordinate Clauses:

 

A subordinate clause is a group of words having a subject and a verb.

(Verb is the action and subject is the doer of the action.)

 

We can begin a subordinate clause with when, while, before, after, since until, if, because, although, as

 

Examples: We were happy because we were going to the zoo.

                       Mum would be happy if I get good marks.
